Ethos: this is credible because it is a Doritos commercial.
Pathos: this commercial has pathos because it has a child and it is also funny.
Logos: this is logos because it is a fact that he should keep his hands off his mama and his Doritos

They treat girls differently, don't they?

gender bias does not start in school it is just a reflection of society in general. going into kindergarten girls are just outgoing as boys but by their high school ears they have low self esteem and are less likely to take the courses boys are taking because those things are considered a "mans job." most of the time teachers don't even realize that they are bias. Ellen Silber says that girls are being conditioned to believe that boys get more attention because "they are pains in the neck." David Sadker did a test on his wife and found that gender bias to be deep-rooted in American classrooms. boys score higher on the scholastic aptitude test but are more likely to have learning disabilities, drug or alcohol problems, and trouble with law and girls get better grades, are less likely to drop out of school, and more likely to get a college degree. girls tend to think about an answer  before raising there hand where as boys don't. boys are more individualistic and competitive and girls are less competitive and try to find ways to collaborate. parents at home should encourage their girls to do more things that are considered "boy things." teachers should be more aware of who they call on in class and collaborate with each other to see what they are doing wrong in there class rooms.
